NOTICE OF VOTE FOR SENIOR PASTOR


This Notice of Vote has been shared and posted SINCE April 19, 2026. 

We honor the life and enduring legacy of Pastor Erik Eure, who 24 years ago founded The Promise Land Church alongside Co-Pastor Twiggy Eure. During the past three years, as Pastor Eure focused on recovery from health challenges and observed a period of sabbatical, Co-Pastor Dr. Eure faithfully served in the capacity of Senior Pastor.

In light of this season, the Elders of The Promise Land Church issue this formal notice of vote. All established Promise Land church members prior to September 7th, 2025, are respectfully invited to join us on May 10, 2026, as we come together to officially vote on the appointment of Co-Pastor Dr. Twiggy Meshele Eure as Senior Pastor of The Promise Land Church.

All established Promise Land church members prior to September 7, 2025, are respectfully invited to join us on May 10, 2026, as we come together to officially vote on the appointment of Co-Pastor Dr. Twiggy Meshele Eure as Senior Pastor of The Promise Land Church.

In addition to her faithful service to the church, Co-Pastor Dr. Eure is Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging at Crouse Hospital and has been for 10 years. She is actively involved in the community, serving on various boards and committees. Dr. Eure received her associate's degree (Bryant & Stratton College), bachelor's degree (SUNY Oswego), master's degree (Syracuse University), and earned her doctorate from St. John Fisher University in Executive Leadership and was the first in her family on both sides to do so. She is currently enrolled in the Preaching Institute at Wheaton College Billy Graham Center and aspires to earn a second doctorate in ministry.

Co-Pastor Dr. Eure was faithfully married to Pastor Eure for 32 years before his transition to Heaven. She is the mother of four adult children, her precious oldest daughter, Gabby who went home to be with the Lord on February 6, 2026, Family Pastor Marquis (wife Nicole), Sydni, and Camryn. She is also the Nonni of Londyn and Greyson.

The Vote will take place on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at 10:15am in the West Wing of the church. If you have any questions regarding your membership or will be traveling due to the holiday weekend, please see or contact one of the Elders following service today.
